Our History

Nortelco was established in 1998 with the aim of providing truly independent and professional telecoms consultancy services. Our directors and management have vast experience in the telecoms industry, covering many elements from traditional PMR (radio communications) leading into cellular GSM mobile services. Traditional fixed line telephony through to deregulation of the industry and the path to a full open market place with numerous carriers offering services over fully digital networks, in doing so providing a wealth of new features and benefits to business users and consumers alike, not to mention massive reductions in the costs incurred by users.

Built largely on a mobile offering, the business developed quickly in the late1990’s despite the economic situation at that time. Major clients ranged from leading sports professionals, within football, rugby and cricket to HM Government officials, Members of Parliament, leading local authority officials and numerous leading business users, all of whom turned to Nortelco for professional impartial advice, connection and excellent ongoing support and customer service. During this time Nortelco developed a reputation for professionalism, reliability, total impartiality and very importantly total confidentiality.

The new millennium saw Nortelco continue to build on its successful VIP client base, and in the latter part of the decade start to move into becoming a full Communications Provider, not only serving VIP clients, but more and more businesses users across a wide range of SME & Corporate entities, covering many industry sectors, but with a major influence within professional sporting organizations. Today we count numerous professional football clubs, from the English & Scottish Premierships, Football League Championship, Scottish FA, Super League & National Championship Rugby Football League, Guinness Premiership Rugby Union, national and regional Cricket Clubs, Hockey, Athletics, Motor Racing and many similar prestigious sporting organizations.
