It’s not long before Samsung’s new P1000 tablet device launches in the UK and interest is mounting for what is labelled as the iPads closest competitor.

Specification wise it’s very comparable to iPad but with added advantages:

•    Has the capacity to be used like a normal phone (if you wanted to do that, remember it’s still fairly large!)

•    3.2 MP Camera with video recording

•    Launched with real multitasking (you have to wait for an update for this is you have an iPad)

•    Micro SD Expansion slot

•    Uses a regular sized SIM card (more data plans available)

•    Supports Adobe flash

•    Also has Bluetooth.

Prices Start from around £499 and depend on what data plan you require with the device.
